Community invited to “Of Thee, I Sing” open house
The community is invited to attend an open house for “Of Thee, I Sing” on Saturday, November 9 from 2 to 8 p.m. Community members will have the opportunity to view the powerful public art exhibit, as well as meet artist Marjorie Guyon, photographer Patrick J. Mitchell, and several models.
“Of Thee, I Sing” is a 21-piece public art exhibit inspired by the story of a Clark County mother and son who were enslaved in the 1800s. The hope is for people to shift the way we see each other, to a sense of shared humanity.
